Born in Reykjavík, Haukur has worked odd jobs in film, television, theatre and the music industry; as a production designer, editor, gaffer, playwright, actor, go-go dancer, cameraman, stage manager, stunt driver, painter, dolly grip and body double. He graduated from the Icelandic Academy of the Arts in 2016 with a B.A. in Theatre Arts.
