Kjellberg first came to Iceland last year with his girlfriend in celebration of their six year anniversary and the vlog he posted about his trip has been viewed over 8-million times. On the most recent trip, the gang make the most of four days in Iceland and discover the charms of an Icelandic winter wonderland i.e. lots of snow and multiple snowball fights.

The group started off in Reykjavík, taking in the sights from the viewing platform at the top of one of Reykjavík’s most iconic landmarks, Hallgrímskirkja church, before stopping inside a local restaurant for some traditional fish soup.

Day two and the group decides to explore the famous Golden Circle Route. Even though PewDiePie completed this sightseeing tour on his first visit to Iceland, he mentions that he’s happy to see it again and was still blown away, especially by the beauty of Gullfoss waterfall.

After a full day visiting natural attractions, the group opted to go for a soak in the warm and relaxing waters of the Blue Lagoon before turning in for the night.

The next day, the group travels west to the Snæfellsnes peninsula amidst snowy weather. Although the low clouds obstruct some of the natural sights in the area, the dramatic scenery of this alluring peninsula does not fail to impress PewDiePie and friends.

On the gang’s final day, they return home after successfully cramming a lot of Iceland in a four day holiday. Kjellberg’s YouTube channel holds the record for being the most viewed and subscribed to account on the entire platform. He was named one of “The World’s 100 Most Influential People” in 2016 and it’s likely that his Icelandic adventures will be enjoyed worldwide.

Although a hugely successful YouTuber, PewDiePie has been criticised for racist language in several of his videos and many people simply find him annoying. However, he didn’t have a bad word to say about Iceland!
